Essential Breath

Breath is what gives us life here on this planet

We can live for several months without food, several weeks without water but only minutes without breathing!

Breath is so important to us, yet we never give it a second thought because we have been doing it since the day we were born.

In fact we don’t even consider it at all until we can’t breath for what ever reason. A shock or physical reason we may feel suffocated.

Our lungs are so vital to our existence that we take them totally for granted and only ever have a breathing assessment if we notice a problem.

Because we all breathe it’s easy to be complacent, until we have a condition that affects our health, the way we breathe impacts our health in so many ways.

Each individual’s breathing pattern is as unique as their thumbprint and gives a trained facilitator insight into how you show up in the world.

Every organ in your body requires oxygen to thrive, our bodies thrive when our blood is fully oxygenated. We can learn to fully oxygenate our bodies through many different breathing modalities. Many of which I have trained in.

What really fascinates me is that when we begin to combine the breath with acupressure. Acupressure has been studied for years and works on the basis of that we have an energy system in the body that connects all internal organs and works on many levels. Interestingly when using the essential breath technique combined with acupressure and sound therapy a natural synthesis occurs within the body which results in the integration of past traumatic experiences and releases blockages in the individuals energy system. Releasing the individual from repeating patterns of behaviour that have been negatively impacting them. All without the individual having to relive the trauma experience verbally.

Also some people experience visions and a merging of the senses during the breath session that enables them to reach insights and information stored deep within their psyche that has helped them resolve past and current challenges.
